He specializes in working with couples, trauma, sexual dysfunction, gender and sexual identity, depression and anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality issues, grief and other mental health issues. He is the author of the forthcoming book Racial Trauma and African-American Men (Routledge). She is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Los Angeles, California. She holds an MA in Clinical Psychology with LGBT-confirming specialization from Antioch University of Los Angeles. In addition to and in connection with her private practice, Nina works as a therapist & coach with The Christian Closet, the first completely LGBTQ team of counselors and trainers to provide 100% mental and spiritual health services online. Prior to that, Nina was the clinical director of the La Fuente Hollywood Treatment Center, one of the United States’ only LGBTQ-specific drug and alcohol treatment centers for adults, which monitored all levels of care and developed LGBTQ-specific curricula. Cadyn is a faculty member and has been interim director of the LGBT specialization at Antioch University in Los Angeles for the past three years. He is an adjunct faculty at Mount Saint Mary’s University, Alliant International University and Cal State Los Angeles. He is a psychological assistant in private practice supervised by Kenneth Scott, PsyD, where he focuses on psychoanalytic psychotherapy with transgender and non-binary patients. .
